Organic Kumamoto Yabe Hojicha contains only roasted stems and sencha leaves from the first harvest in spring. First harvest hojicha has superior taste and aroma to the more common later harvest organic hojicha teas. A very well presented organic hojicha that is aromatic, sweet flavored, hearty, and full of mountain goodness and life force just like all of the teas we get from the mountains of Kumamoto! First Harvest? Yes (100%) Harvest Year 2010 Brewing Suggestion In a large Japanese teapot: Place 10-15g of tea into the teapot. Pour about 1 liter of hot water into the teapot. Leave to infuse for 1-2 minutes and serve. Allow to cool slightly before drinking. In a small Japanese teapot: Place 6g of tea into the teapot. Pour about 180ml/6oz of 80-90°C water into the teapot.
