Shinkai Mino Yaki Matcha Bowl

Description

A handmade Mino-Yaki matcha bowl named "Shinkai" which translates to "the depths of the sea". It shows off a beautiful and unique array of colors. Many glaze flaws (or surface decoration in Japan) can be seen around the bowl. These decorations are intentionally formulated for their aesthetic qualities. Each bowl is purposefully misshapen and all are formed differently on the potters wheel. Therefore, no two bowls have the same shape, neither do they have the same glaze or design. This gives the owner the chance to posses a one of a kind aesthetic chawan that is completely unique from the next!
