Uraku Takayama Chasen

Description

Uraku chasen are used and requested by tea masters at Uraku-ryu (Uraku school of tea ceremony). Quite unique to this whisk is the join of the bamboo is at the bottom of the handle, and also the interlaced string is an unfamiliar white, not black. A very fine, beautifully crafted chasen! Made from natural Japanese bamboo in Takayama, Nara, Japan by Japanese artisan whisk maker Yasaburo Tanimura.
