Due to it being both first flush and organically cultivated it really is an excellent choice for those looking to gain all of the health benefits of green tea at an affordable price! The tea itself is very fresh and green tasting combined with a pleasant aroma, a nice thickness of taste, and a clean aftertaste. Interestingly, the organic tea garden where this tea hails from is predominately planted with Yabukita tea bushes. However, a very tiny area of the tea garden is planted with Kanayamidori tea bushes. Therefore, when the tea bushes are harvested in spring the leaves from both the Yabukita and Kanayamidori tea bushes get processed together making for a naturally blended single estate organic daily sencha!
