Introducing the NEW Obix Filter!
Coming on to the market this year in Japan is the all new obix filter for Tokoname Teapots! A very practical filter that we’re sure some of our customers will be happy to see!
So what’s an obix filter you may ask? Well, it’s an innovative plastic filter that can easily be removed from the teapot by the little plastic handle on the side of the filter. It can then be thoroughly cleaned by hand and then easily fixed back into the teapot prior to each usage. Here’s an image of one removed from the teapot:

The filter is made from durable plastic and will last a long time, but if you do happen to need a new filter we are stocking them here: Obix Filter For Tokoname Teapots.
Currently, we have two teapots that are fitted with the obix filter, the more expensive Kuro Kushime Obix Tokoname Teapot, and the cheaper Shusen Obix Tokoname Teapot. Both excellent functional teapots from Tokoname!
