This organic sencha powder comes from the famous tea growing region of Kyoto known as Ujitawara and is made entirely of first harvest spring leaves resulting in a powder that is very highly nutritious!
Sencha powder, as it suggests, is made from ground down sencha. It is often referred to as "taberu ryokucha" in Japan, which translates into "eat green tea", meaning that the whole leaf is consumed when drunk. This, along with the fact that our organic sencha powder is made from first harvest leaves that are harvested in spring and stone-ground into a very fine powder, makes for an extremely healthy beverage that has very high nutritional value and is loaded with powerful antioxidants.
