This is a limited offering of a very fine organic sencha that has been deep steamed by the grower. It's made from the cultivar known as Tsuyuhikari which was developed in Shizuoka from cross seedlings of Shizu7132 and Asatsuyu cultivars. Although developed in Shizuoka it has now made its way to other tea producing prefectures. Notably, this particular one was harvested in Hioki in Kagoshima.
This honestly is an abundantly tasty deep steamed organic sencha with really fine aromas both the dry leaves and when the tea is brewed. A fantastic organic sencha that we really enjoy, and one we are very happy to offer at a very good price even though it is very limited this year.
