In order to make high quality organic green tea a farmer must have a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom in their field! Our growers are:

Our organic teas are grown by growers that are long established in cultivating Japanese teas naturally, in some cases our teas come from farms that have been tea farming for hundreds of years using only traditional methods of cultivation! All of our organic Japanese teas either come from highly regarded independent organic tea growers, long established family run organic tea farms, or organic cooperative tea groups!

Our high quality naturally grown Japanese green teas are some of the best organic teas available on the market, and it is great to know that a growing number of our selected growers are beginning to pick up awards for their organic teas, growing methods and processing skills both in Japan and abroad!

Most consumers outside of Japan only know the Uji and Shizuoka tea growing regions because they are the most famed, but don't disregard teas from other regions! There are many other renowned tea growing regions in Japan that produce their own distinctive teas, and in some cases their teas can actually be just as good if not better than teas from Uji and/or Shizuoka.

Each tea growing region has its own complex geographical features which makes teas distinctive and characterized to that particular green tea producing region only.

Here at Yuuki-Cha we continuously search through each tea growing region of Japan, and only collaborate with growers that we can firmly identify as experts in their field.



OUR GROWERS CULTIVATE SUSTAINABLE & NATURAL JAPANESE TEAS:

Sustainable and naturally grown teas have a very long history in Japan! Japanese green tea was naturally grown using sustainable methods right up until the 1950-60's, now that is a long history!

The wonderful thing about naturally grown Japanese green tea that is farmed in this manner is that it enables you to enjoy teas which are grown in harmony with the local environment, and are free from harmful chemicals and fertilizers. This in turn allows you to experience teas of genuine flavor that are light, refreshing, naturally sweet, aromatic, clean tasting, and you can enjoy as many cups as you wish!
