Our organic sencha powder is from Uji and made from first harvest leaves that are harvested in spring, resulting in a powder that has very high nutritional value!
Sencha powder, as it suggests, is made from ground down sencha. It is generally known as 'taberu ryokucha' in Japan, which translates into 'eat green tea', meaning that the whole leaf is consumed when drunk. This, along with the fact that our organic sencha powder is made from first harvest leaves that are harvested in spring and stone-ground into a very fine powder, makes for an extremely healthy beverage that has very high nutritional value and is loaded with powerful antioxidants.
It can be used as a hot beverage, cold beverage (especially refreshing in the summertime), and added to smoothie recipes. It can also be used in cooking or desserts such as bread, cookies, ice cream, cakes, puddings, lattes, yogurt and just about anything else. Which ever way it is used is sure to add vital antioxidants to anybody's diet!
High quality first harvest stone-ground organic powdered sencha, such as this one, is a very healthy drink that is rich in catechins, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, E, niacin, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene, potassium, manganese, zinc, copper, fiber and fluoride. The fact that it is stone-ground into a very fine powder enables you to easily digest all of these vital naturally occurring nutrients found in sencha.

This is the best powered sencha out there. If you really want the PERFECT cup of tea that knows no bitterness and leaves you with a sweet pleasant after taste long after the last sip then this is what you want. It also gives you a wonderful uplifting feeling that lingers pleasantly and does not let you down harshly like Coffee.

Wonderfully refreshing! I have it always by my side at work. It wakes me up better than a cup of coffee! Without that caffeine shock one gets from it. It has an amazing colour!

My number one tea from Japan. Easy to drink, and very healthy. Not bitter, but soft and balanced. I drink it at least 3x a day!
