A first harvest organic gyokuro green tea from a small organic tea garden in Ujitawara, Kyoto, Japan. It is made exclusively from the cultivar known as Yabukita, is 100% Uji Gyokuro Green Tea, and is grown under Tana coverage.

It's a fairly easy-to-brew gyokuro and doesn't really require excessive messing around with brewing temperatures or ridiculous amounts of tea leaves. It's naturally sweet and rich, is clean to taste, and is both refreshing and vitalizing to drink!

Unlike most chemically grown gyokuro where you have to mess around with low temperature brewing to try and find a chemical sweet taste, we feel this organic gyokuro releases all of its aroma and rich flavors at more regular brewing temperatures of around 65°C/149°F - 70°C/158°F. It is also nice cold brewed.
