This matcha was my first purchase from Yuuki-cha and I'm very impressed. It was a very light green (like a light shade of emerald) with a very "fluffy" texture (not clumpy or weighty). The taste was delicate, it had the usual matcha bitterness, but with a soft-edge and an interesting flavor profile which doesn't hit you like a train, but rather rolls over the tongue, giving different notes of tastes.

I've had matchas that cost twice as much as this that I enjoyed less. It's sweet and mild but still with enough kick to let you know you're drinking matcha. This is easy to prepare, and stays drinkable longer than some other matchas. If you like a less bitter matcha, definitely give this a try!

A real discovery at such a reasonable price, Yame matcha has a surprisingly deep, rich flavour. Especially if sifted beforehand, it whisks up a thick froth and creamy smooth bowl of tea. Beautiful bright green as well.

I have been having this organic matcha daily for about 3 months, I have found it to be of good color, texture and it whisks up to medium froth. The taste is on the sweet side without being too sweet, and its over all balance is remarkable for a mid-priced matcha, I plan to order more...

This matcha is ideal as an everyday matcha if cost is a consideration. Typical of Yame matcha, it has a very smooth, mild taste without any bitterness. For those who prefer some "bite" in their matcha, the Uji type might be a better choice. I don't think anyone who prefers the milder Yame taste could go wrong with this matcha, especially at this deeply discounted price. I rate it 5 stars for value.

Very very good! Nice gyokuro-like aroma and mellow flavor. Excellent value, also.
