We post all our green tea and tea ware directly from Japan to almost anywhere in the world. We ship all orders within 24 hours of your order being placed and are open year round.
SHIPPING METHODS:
Airmail:
• Airmail usually takes 6-12 days.
• Reasonably fast, reliable and cheap.
• NO tracking number, online tracking, or insurance.
• Parcels are not registered. Therefore, you are not required to sign for the parcel upon delivery.
• It is possible that your parcel will be delivered when you are out and taken back to the postal depot until you claim it. In this case, you should call your local post office or sorting office to see if they are holding a parcel for you.
• NOT RECOMMENDED for bigger orders of value, or breakable items such as matcha bowls, teapots, or anything made of breakable materials. EMS shipping is highly recommended in these instances.
• If you choose to ship breakable items or orders of value by Airmail, you do so at your own risk. We CANNOT be held responsible for loses, thefts, or breakages caused by mishandling along the postal route.
• Some countries impose customs duties and clearance fees on tea, tea ware and international parcels. We have no control over this and CANNOT be held responsible for these fees. Therefore, it is advisable for you to contact your local customs office regarding this matter if you are unsure of the fees you might incur.
• By law we are obliged to disclose the correct value of the items on the Airmail customs declaration form of each order. We CANNOT manipulate these values in any way, shape or form.
EMS (Express Mail Service) with tracking and insurance:
• EMS usually takes 3-6 days and includes tracking and insurance.
• Rapid, very reliable and safe.
• Highly recommended for bigger orders of value, or orders that include breakable items such as matcha bowls or teapots.
• Your parcel has a tracking number and online tracking is available. After your parcel has been sent out by us we will email you with your tracking details.
• You will be required to sign for your parcel upon delivery.
• Loses, thefts or breakages can be refunded in full and replaced. If this situation occurs, please contact us for details about how to claim.
• It is possible that your parcel will be delivered when you are out and taken back to the postal depot. In this case, EMS requires that either the courier leaves contact information to enable you to claim your parcel, or repeat attempts to deliver your parcel will occur.
• If you don’t receive your parcel within 3-6 days, the courier forgot to leave contact details, or there was no repeat attempt to deliver your parcel, you should call your local post office or sorting office to see if they are holding a parcel for you. Make sure you have your 13 digit EMS tracking number at hand.

WEIGHT:
We offer shipping weights as accurately as possible. **Our shipping costs are based on the overall weight of the package, that includes the product, product packaging, packaging materials, and the shipping box**. Shipping costs are automatically charged in the checkout procedure of our store. All shipping rates are taken from the Japan Post website.

EMS TRACKING:
EMS provides a service where by you can track your parcel online. This means if you place an order and choose EMS shipping as your shipping method, you will be able to use this online service to track your parcel. Once we have shipped your parcel we will send you an email which will include your 13 digit EMS tracking number and a link to a detailed status page where you can check the progress of your parcel.
This service enables you to track your parcel all the way to your doorstep enabling you to be at home when your parcel is likely to be delivered. It is also possible to track your parcel online through your countries post office website once the parcel has entered your country.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
We always try our best to insure your Japanese green tea and tea ware reaches you without any problems and we hardly ever experience any returns or disputes. But in case you have a problem here are our return and refund policies:
• Any differences between your order and what you actually received will be refunded in full, please contact us within seven days and show us photos/images to prove, and we will send you a refund accordingly.
• If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please return the items to us, in their original state, within 7 days of you receiving them from us. Once we receive the items back, we will offer a full refund excluding any shipping charges we incurred. NOTE: Items must be returned by a registered shipping method, and shipping costs must be paid entirely by the customer.
• If a parcel is lost because of an error on our part we will refund you entirely.
• Mistakes that you make when placing an order (e.g. wrong shipping address) will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
• We CANNOT accept any returns of opened green tea.
• We CANNOT accept any returns of teaware or matcha utensils that have been used by the customer.
• All parcels shipped by Airmail including orders of value, and orders containing breakable items such as matcha bowls or teapots CANNOT be replaced or refunded if they are stolen, lost or broken in transit. Plainly speaking, if you want your parcel to reach you safely, quickly, and trouble free, we highly recommend that you choose EMS shipping.
• All parcels shipped by EMS are eligible to be refunded in full and replaced if they are stolen, lost or broken in transit. If you think your parcel has been stolen or lost please email us, and if any of your items are broken upon delivery please email us also. We will then be able to forward you instructions on how to claim.
RETURNED PARCELS:
Occasionally, we have had parcels returned to us as undelivered. This can happen for various reasons such as delivery failed, shipping address was wrong, the parcel was unclaimed after a delivery attempt, duties were not paid by the customer, or the customer declined to accept the parcel upon delivery.
In this case, we will refund the sub-total of your order minus any shipping costs we incurred when we sent it out to you, or it is possible we will resend the parcel after discussing the problem with the customer.
