A high quality Banko Yaki teapot shaped like a variety of eggplant (nasu in Japanese) which has been decorated with tobikanna bands. Handmade by master craftsman Tachi Masaki one of the most highly regarded Banko potters, and a foremost figure in keeping the Banko spirit alive. There are two stamps on the teapot (see image above). The left stamp reads 'Banko' and the right stamp reads 'Masaki'.
