From Gokase Town in Miyazaki Prefecture comes this excellent whole leaf type organic Japanese black tea made from leaves that were selected from Meiryoku tea bushes which is a Japanese cultivar that was registered in 1986 and is a cross between Yabukita and Yamatomidori. It is a cultivar that is earmarked as having excellent taste, liquor color, and aroma.

This particular one is a favorite of ours among the whole leaf Organic Black Tea offerings that we have tried over the recent years from our grower in Gokase Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. It has a unique quality and character, clear clean rich taste, and exceptionally fine lifted aromas.
