From Gokase Town in Miyazaki Prefecture comes this excellent whole leaf type organic Japanese black tea made from leaves that were selected from Meiryoku tea bushes which is a Japanese cultivar that was registered in 1986 and is a cross between Yabukita and Yamatomidori. It is a cultivar that is earmarked as having excellent taste, liquor color, and aroma.
This particular one is a favorite of ours among the whole leaf Organic Black Tea offerings that we have tried over the recent years from our grower in Gokase Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. It has a unique quality and character, clear & clean rich taste, and exceptionally fine lifted aromas.
Brewing: 2-3 minutes, water just below boling, 4oz-6oz (120ml - 180ml) water, with your preferred amount of leaves (preferably starting around 4 grams).
