Hailing from Kirishima in Kagoshima comes this Organic Yamatomidori Sencha which is a very old cultivar that was originally developed in Nara Prefecture. It now only has a very small production volume throughout Japan. It has a strong taste and slight astringency with a very green taste. Leaves a lasting impression in the mouth and can easily be matched with food. An organic sencha that represents Yamatomidori perfectly well.
