A stylish Kyoto landmark Japanese tea tin which is wrapped with handmade wazome washi paper.

Designed to hold 200g (7.0oz) of loose leaf tea such as sencha or gyokuro. It can certainly be used for other types of tea, but the more bulky the tea leaves are the less the capacity will become. The canister is made of steel, wrapped in traditional Japanese handmade wazome washi paper, and comes with a plastic inner lid. MADE IN JAPAN.

PLEASE NOTE: When filling the canister DO NOT attempt to pour a whole packet of tea leaves into the canister at once. Please carefully pour the tea leaves into the canister little by little, and as you do so gently tap the canister on a surface, or shake the canister to help to compact the leaves.
